Tuaran Crocodile Farm is located 32km away from KK City and to get there you need to use the new highway from KKIP to Gayang Seafood Restaurant and soon after you pass by Rasa Ria Shangrila Resort the Crocodile farm will be on your left.

Crocodile farm is one of the largest crocodile farm in Sabah and they accommodated more than 1,000 crocodile - written in the flyer. Beside having crocodile inside there are other animals as well. They also sell authentic crocodile leather goods which can cost up to RM30k a handbag. It's even more expensive than Lacoste the brand that uses crocodile icon. 

Here is something that you should note down. 

Daily operating hours 8.30 - 5.30pm

Crocodile Show Time

 Monday to Saturday 11.00am and 3.00pm

Sunday and Public Holiday 11.00am , 1.00pm and 3.00pm

Duration: 10 - 15 minutes

Entrance fee : RM10 for Adult Local

Tips: Be early for the show and bring lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. 

This could be one of the best protein source you can find. I didn't manage to try their eggs. Let me know if you have try it at the comment section. 

The crocodile shows is definitely a must watch act. It is normally performed by 3 well train personal with a few crocodile inside the pool. Similar to circus, there will be a person in the room playing songs and do short introduction before they perform any dangerous act. It's really amazing to see how brave they are to be that close with a 15 feet long crocodile. Can you image if one day the crocodile decided to bite the guy hand off? and rumors have it one of the crocodile even tasted human flesh before.

Right after the crocodile show you can head on to the rumah panjang and witness cultural dance show. It starts 30 minutes after the crocodile show started. You can also participate in the cultural bambo dance. Next you can walk around the crocodile farm and feed some animals in there. You will notice a metal cash box and a row of foods hanging in front of the animal and that is where you need to pay before you can feed them.

Tips: Most of the animal's food cost RM1 - RM2

Feeding the Koi Fish is highly recommended because the scene of hundred of fish move and rush around the pond is beautiful. There are a few preserved crocodile body around the exhibition area.
