Levain Boulangerie Patisserie is definitely the paradise for bakery, pastries macaroons and other types of Italians food lover. Shannon was really kind to bring me for food hunt around in KL despite her busy schedule. I'm going to feed you fat when you're in KK again. :) From the outside, it looks like a renovated bungalow. In fact most of the houses in KL have been transform into a shop. I was told by Shannon it resembles the English Tea House in Sandakan. *FYI, i have never been to Sandakan and she is from KL and she had been there already * Embarrassing
The atmosphere is really relaxing and they have a small backyard garden. Most of the young pretty girls hang out over there, same goes to couple and families too. Girls love sweet and fancy tea time so i guess it's a great place for girls to hang out. Definitely a place for couples for a romantic high tea session.
They are generous with the toppings on their pizza however it's best to have it warm or right after from the oven. Couldn't recall the price but it's affordable per piece.
The macaroons tasted awfully sweet for me but compare to previous experience with macaroons over at Le Safran restaurant KK this is definitely better. The outer layer was slightly crunchy follow by soft inner layer.
Didn't had much food that day because i was full from previous breakfast session at Yut Kee Kedai Kopi. Will be back again to this place some day.
