KK Islands

Jesselton port
Pulau Manukan, Pulau Sapi and Pulau Mamutik are some of the closest islands where you can do a day trip when you're in KK. It takes only 20 minutes and cost around RM40 (two ways) to be there. * price depending on the package Best of all, the beautiful blue sea and magnificant coral reef fishes are all within snokerling range.

Tickets are available at Jesselton port and remember to keep the receipt well.

Tips: Be at the port around 8.30 to catch the first boat around 9am. Some of the island could be crowded sometimes so it's best to be there early and get the table banch place or a good suntanning spot.

Tanjung Aru Food Court

No other better place to find all the local food under one roof and enjoy the sunset. Tanjung Aru food court opens from 12pm onwards until late night. There you can also find local dessert and delicious juice. My favorite juice is avocado juice and also sugar cane with lime juice. Both of they are perfect for hot weather in KK.

You might also want to go to Tanjung Aru Shangri-la Sunset bar. [Link] If you love sunset and wish to know more about the best location to view sunset here is the [link].

Waterfront

This is where all the main nightlife happen. The BED (Best Entertainment Destination, Cock and Bull, Irish Bar, Shamrock and many more pubs are all available there. Most of the clubs in KK provide awesome live band entertainment hired from filipines.
